Hug - Chiang Mai

Sorry to report that we were not keen on this place. We tried to go to the Nest 2 but it was full and we saw this place opposite had a listing on HappyCow so we tried it out. They do have clearly listed vegetarian dishes but not vegan, although they did seem to understand. However, the food was very plain and boring. We also had to wait an extremely long time even though there was only two of us, it seems they only have one cook and have to make one meal at a time so we had to watch another table have all their meals brought out one by one before ours were. On the plus side, they have brown rice and the food is very cheap. They also don't seem to be too rushed to close the kitchen at the time that they state.

We wanted to eat a cheap meal and had a few drinks here. we had a fried noodle dish that quickly came out and was really delicious. the menu has many vegan and vegetarian options and they asked us if there is a order. they also have a beautiful cat!
