Bacci Pizza - Chicago

Amazing pizza place. open late hexe is very comfortable. great cheese pizza? that's NY-style. the discs are huge! the sitting areas are great. would come back!

I don't even know where to start. I had eaten here a few times a few years ago, and it was decent. But today I had a simple order of two cooked items and a can of pop. Order took forever (almost an hour) to make even though each item shouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes. I specifically asked for ranch *on the side* because I knew that if it was on the wrap it might get messy in transit. Well not only did they put ranch on the wrap, they packed it on its side/upside down so most of the ranch left the wrap, leaked out of the packaging entirely, and soaked the bottom of the paper bag to the point that it tore open later when I grabbed it. Wrap was almost entirely lettuce and ranch with a few small pieces of questionable chicken. Also completely forgot the soda. I know places have been struggling since the pandemic, and I've been pretty forgiving in most cases, but this just seemed like total ineptitude or negligence. Will never even think about this place again.

Late night munchies? Hungry but nothing else is open? Absolutely great value for your money as they give you gigantic slices that are crispy and fill you up. Definitely better than most other fast casual late-night pizza places that I?ve tried in Chicago

Pizza was all right, edible but not quite as I remember it from my college days. Felt like the pizza sauce was too acidic/oxidized tasting, or maybe that's just how it's supposed to be and it's not to my tastes, but whatever the case, it was pretty good. Requested an extra container of pizza sauce and the guy at the counter gave it to me and the service was great. The price is definitely a bit more than I remember it being, which is probably is in light of what POTATUS is doing, but overall it was a great experience. My mom really liked the pizza so I think it's just a matter of preference.

So good?like ?.soooo good. Slice is giant, came to about $7 but just LOOK at the size (hand is for reference). I?ve had this pizza both drunk and sober and it hits just as hard either way.
