Ella’s Bbq - Chicago

This was my best dining experience in Chicago so far. We sat outside at one of the tables, and Brittany was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was incredibly delicious, affordable, and served in generous portions. I can’t wait to return!

It was just OK. Pulled pork was mushy, ribs were good. Breakfast tray including bacon was just so-so. Chicken tenders were nothing special and overcooked. Pulled pork tacos, corn salad and turkey BLT were good but not tasty enough that I?d make aneffort to come back. There are many better places for smoked food in Chicago, including my backyard. The experience wasn?tmemorable though the employees were very friendly. The interior eating area should be rearranged to move more or bigger tablesto the wall of open windows to maximize the view and breeze for people.

Had the brisket sandwich. The brioche bun was ok but the meat was fantastic! Had the charred corn as a side. Had cilantro and feta(? . Was tasty. I mixed it with the bbq sauce, which is on the sweeter side. Very nice!

So thankful to have Ella’s in our neighborhood. Comforting vibes at this spot and the staff is always in a great mood! BBQ always hits the spot too, they really know how to dish out some brisket. Their BBQ sauce rules too. The cornbread is my favorite of their sides.

My partner and I came to lunch at the visit of chicago and it was absolutely amazing! the server was so sweet and friendly. she accepted our needs and was very patient when we gave our orders. my partner got the pulled pork sandwich when I remember correctly, and I got the avocado chicken stable and we got both drinks! the food was very good. my partner got a milkshake that was like the sky and I got limonade and it was one of the best I had! this place is a definitiw away when they have to come!
