J J Fish Chicken - Chicago

Such poor customer service from current staff have seen staff turnover for past 20 yrs, but these ones can 't admit they made a mistake and when called back for manager, was told not available, got other customers to take care of and then I was hung up on just by use of the word other implies that I also must be a customer, but instead, was accused of wanting to argue when all I really wanted to offer was clarity, but got nothing but hostility, which I as a customer don 't have time for that, I just want to get what I asked for and pay the price for it, not just accept something else when a customer says they want a 3 item combo, why would the order taker decide to turn it into a 2 item order just because they didn 't understand I wanted 1 of 1 item, then double (2) of the other item (1+2 still= 's 3, all day long) but they will not get anymore of my money or time even though I know the importance of spending in my community their food can be hit or miss, this was a miss because I can 't eat anything prepared by people with such bad attitudes, which may even be a reflection on how mindful they are of their workspace/kitchen.

Everything is great! I love the food and the customer service was top-notch.

Okay I called in my order waited 15 mins before I arrived to get my order,(not alot of food) mind u I get there to pay the cashier starts saying omg I never realized how much ppl really do ask to double check about what their being charged for , like basically annoyed because I asked him did u make sure u charged me for the grapes... Then I go into my car wait for the food , come back in 10 mins later food is done I leave .. have to come back because they forgot one of my combos.. I tell them the cashier nods his head no the chef remembers yes he forgot it .. I asked the cashier if he can get me some sodas of mistic and sprite can ..hes just standing there has nothing else to do n goes wait wait wait okay let me think about this u said u want the mistic and sprite can ok one of each or what because I can't read ur mind ... Then he gets them finally n I ask him do u guys have ranch sauce he sighs like annoyed again n goes here I'm going to give u these and sighs it needs to go back how it use to be when Khalid was the manager and BILLY was the cook ! He made the best food ever ! The food was always cooked well never dried out the cheese sticks we're always fresh and cooked with cheese still on the inside , the wings were never burnt GET RID OF THAT CASHIER ! HE MAKES THE CUSTOMERS FEEL LIKE THEIR THE PROBLEM BECAUSE HE DOESNT HAVE PATIENCE OR KINDNESS HES RUDE ! ALSO BRING BACK BILLY !!!!! Make this jj's fish great again ! I was very disappointed coming here ... And because of the way that cashier man acted , I won't be coming back ..he's losing u guys customers!

Delicious fish and chicken from this location. Their first and chicken are perfectly fried and well seasoned (not too soft but not too crunchy). One of my favorite J&J fish in the city that is delicious.

Ordered a large gizzards and honestly I feel scammed. Pieces were so small and batter was soggy and super salty. This is the 3rd jj's I've tried and they're just all nasty. This is definitely the last.
