Monteverde - Chicago

This restaurant is an absolute MUST-VISIT in Chicago! We drove six hours just to dine here, and it was totally worth it! Everything was fantastic, and we can’t wait to return! Special thanks to Shelbie, the extraordinary sous chef! Rob, the owner, stopped by at least twice to check on us, which we really appreciated. Also, a big shoutout to Brett and Pedro for being exceptional and attentive wait staff!

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptional and full of delightful surprises. The fried squash blossoms were absolutely amazing, and the vegetables in the ragù were a standout. The meatballs were incredibly flavorful, and the pasta was authentic and perfectly executed. Our long-awaited reservation definitely did not disappoint!

My wife and I just visited for our anniversary. We were lucky enough to make a reservation last minute. We traveled all the way from Boston after seeing the restaurant in Netflix. We have been to many restaurants in New York, Boston, London, Washington,etc. This is by far one of the best! The food and the customer service is outstanding! The chef came to greet us personally andall the staff treated us like royalty. Do yourself self a favor and expirience this place. This restaurant is absolutely worth a visit! We celebrated my birthday here, and the food was outstanding. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive to all our needs. It's truly a special spot for any occasion or even just to indulge in some fantastic Italian cuisine. They offered a wonderful selection of authentic Italian dishes alongside classic Italian-American options. I will definitely return one day!

This place is so special. I make reservations anytime we will be in the city. I make sure to look 30 days out because it fills up quickly and we never want to miss an opportunity to dine here. This was our 4th visit and it was just as amazing as priorvisits. Will be back again in September! There is such care in the service and execution of the dishes... thoughtful layers offlavor in each dish. A gem of a restaurant.
