Nookies Too - Chicago

I stopped by for a quick breakfast on a Saturday morning, and I highly recommend ordering the banana nut pancakes! The waitstaff are extremely friendly, and it's the type of place where you just want to linger over your coffee a bit longer!

I had a breakfast wrap, and it was fantastic. The eggs were cooked just right, while the avocado and salsa were fresh and flavorful. I definitely plan to return multiple times!

Nookies Too is a reliable spot for a satisfying meal! While the food may not be particularly exciting, it's hearty and filling. I have to mention that if you enjoy chicken soup like I do, theirs is absolutely excellent! My total for a bowl of soup, a soft drink, and an appetizer came to around $15, which is quite reasonable! My server was very quiet but extremely efficient, which I appreciated. He managed everything seamlessly without me having to ask. Since I was on a lunch break, I was grateful for the quick service that allowed me to enjoy my meal at a full-service restaurant and still be in and out in under 45 minutes!

We ordered two skillets, and the food was decent and quite filling. An interesting observation during our visit at 9 AM was that there were only about three or four occupied tables. We were seated in a back room away from others, which was nice considering the season of coughs and colds. Thankfully, no one else joined our section while we were there. When we left, I noticed that the main dining area had about eight tables occupied, and the overall atmosphere felt a bit dull. Perhaps it was just a coincidence, but I hope that's all it was.
