Írjon visszajelzéstCame here for a Saturday brunch. Great food, had the corn beef hash which was fantastic and Belgium waffle was delicious. Rubin sandwich was great. Recommend the Ginger bread latte! It wasn?t busy so service was good.
Absolutely loved this place!! I took my mother for her birthday for some authentic Swedish food and it was perfect! Not too busy (which surprised me given how amazing the food is). We had a Brie appetizer and each ordered the Swedish meatballs and they werethe best I?ve ever had! Please go and support this restaurant and try the food. You will not be disappointed! We will definitelybe back!
One of our favorite brunch spots and of course they have not disappointed. the stockholmer omelette is ideal for meat lovers and the Belgian waffel is ideal for those who prefer sweet for the breakfast. if they live on the north side of chicago, then visit this place! such a sweet little place with fabulous seating in summer and super friendly staff.
This was my first experience at Tre Kronor. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted by 2 servers who genuinely seemed happy to be there and happy to see my wife and I. I had a simple order, hash and eggs and some soup to start, my wife tried one of their famous quiches. I never write reviews about places I go to eat but I cannot go on without the world hearing my opinion on this place. Our servers name was Baby Mack and she was the most excellent server I have ever had in my 42 years of life. She was a great conversationalist, made both my wife and I super comfortable as well as making us laugh. She seemed very on top of everything she was doing (keeping all the customers happy and making sure we had a full cup of coffee because as she says It 's good for the soul and again, had the best attitude and just seemed so happy to be there. The food was pretty good but we will definitely be returning for the service alone. On the way out once again, multiple servers said variations of goodbye and have a great day to us, it almost just felt like going to visit family. Good work to Tre Kronor servers and kitchen staff, but a specific thank you to Baby Mack for making us feel so at home and appreciated.
I have been to Tre a fair number of times now, so this review might be a little dense. This great meeting place for an outing with friends as it is across the street from the Foster and spalding bus lines. I have never had an issue with being ignored by servers hosts, long wait times for seating or food. The food is good, and while the set menu is smaller, they always have 5 or 6 specials that are rotating. The servings are pretty large [esp the quiche and side sasuages]. Reservations are available, but I have never seen a wait at this restaurant.Even though they are clearly understaffed and management needs to treat their staff better, all the servers, hosts, and cooks I have had here are absolutely wonderful. I have never had issues with swapping food items out due to dietary allergy restrictions or felt like my table was glossed over and forgotten about, even on the busy days or the outside seating area. The last server I had even comped a pastry for my friend as we were out for her birthday.I believe their is no alcohol allowed, or they at least are BOB. I primarily go here for brunch and have never seen anyone drinking or have been offered mimosas usual drinks served during those hours. The outdoor seating garden section is expansive. You are not crowded to one set area like in some places. It is located in the back of the restaurant and is all fenced in so you don't have to worry about seeing interacting with people walking by on the street or the noise pollution. There are plenty of places to hide behind trees statuary so you can have an experience that is more intimate if that is what you want.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu options almost outweigh the options with meat on them, specials included. For most breakfasts brunch items the meat is able to be swapped for replacement or you have to get the meat on the side anyway.Parking: There is street parking that can be paid for an side streets that are free. I have never once had a problem with parking in the area while there.Wheelchair accessibility: Outdoor seating garden area is more wheelchair accessibleDietary restrictions: Good about tree nut peanut allergies and always have milk alternatives on hand for coffee.
