The fish itself was good, with just a hint of chili seasoning. Overall, I was very pleased with it and would definitely order it again. Although it's listed as a meal, it could easily serve as an appetizer for a group—there was a bit too much for one person. The Szechuan Boiled Beef Casserole was indeed spicy, which I loved. It was packed with flavor and really delicious. However, I’m not sure if it was worth the $20 price tag. The fact that it was served on a burner felt unnecessary, despite being one of the reasons I chose that dish. Even though it tasted great, I might opt for something else next time. I noticed several other dishes that piqued my interest, and I didn't even get to try the dim sum, so I definitely plan to return!
Solid Cantonese style seafood and dim sum house. A bit more upscale than typical, and I am sure there are less expensive options, but absolutely recommend this spot for anyone wanting fresh and authentic Chinese food.Checked boxes on a paper photo menu to order (weekday no carts). Came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered mostly dim sum shu mai, char shu bou, shrimp and beef fat noodle, tofu skin dishes, etc all was fresh, hot and tasty. We also ordered chinese veg and fried rice dishes from the lunch menu which came out nearly instantly and were delicious. Most diners were locals so we knew this would be good. Decor and bathrooms were on the high end of all dim sum places we have been to. They are usually the worst parts of a dining experience in similar establishments so it was refreshing to be in a clean and comfortable setting. Most of us ordered bubble tea as well, and they were also very good.We have been to many similar places in major US city chinatown areas especially NYC where we reside and this was one of the best food and atmosphere experiences we have had. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Pretty good veg options which are noted on the photo menu. At least 3 4 dim sum options, plus the standard options like chinese vegetables and rice.Kid friendliness: Kids loved it but note they won't likely be doing chicken nugget style kids meals here. Kids will need to try wonderful tasty new things, or settle for rice!
I was visiting from out of town and was in search of rolled rice noodles. I tried a few of the lunch specials, and they were absolutely delicious! The service was quick and attentive as well. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family! Food: 5/5
Great food first service. Small pace but run efficiently. Menu includes dim sum which is different than other restaurants. Parking is easy Ti find if u are lucky.
We ordered the crab meat soup, soft shell crab, and the szechuan style mix seafood. Everything tasted great. The crab meat soup felt like the perfect warm meal on a rainy day (it was raining that day). The soft shell crab had nice crisp and peppery flavors, and being able to eat the crab without having to remove the shell was an experience to die for. That was my favorite part of the meal. The szechuan seafood mix has great flavor, but it seems like seafood used in this dish was frozen due to the texture. Considering we are pretty much in the middle of the country, there is little to complain about. I highly recommend this place!
