Caffe Nero - Chichester

This store is actually pretty good the reason for the 1 star is that there is a female member of staff who is completely miserable she hardly talks, hands your drink over in silence complete with a frown that you are annoying her by supporting her job! Her drinks are of a low quality and quite often have to be remade because she doesn't seem to care about what she does, a complete shame as the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful and make decent drinks just shows that one bad apple can ruin the whole experience! So it's got to the point if I see her there I walk straight out and go to Costa where all the staff are friendly and polite.

I know lots of people like dogs but this place welcomes them regardless of behaviour and smell! Two dogs barking at each other across the cafe really loudly and the one nearest really ponged. People spend money in cafes, not dogs. Luckily my coffee was free but my cake wasn’t and was really tough and chewy! Extra point for clean tables available.

Professional and friendly staff. Never rush you. Lovely choice of seating. Always warm. Open long hours so excellent service. Thank you.

I’ve been to cafe Nero multiple times, came to this cafe Nero and paid via contactless. Trainee barista send it hadn’t gone through and needed to paid again. Was sure it had gone through but couldn’t prove it. Paid an extra £7.20.. contacted Nero who said they would refund but still waiting. The paint in my house had dried quicker and disappointed by companies recently saying they admit fault but do nothing and ignore it. I guess this is how companies make there money

Grabbing the table by the window was inspired on my part, had to act a bit lively before an elderly couple got there first. The coffee was very nice, the coffee cake less so (not exactly light). Although the queue was rather slow, I wasn’t the one queuing , or paying , which added to my joy.
