Aonami Sushi - Chico

I have never been to a sushi restaurant with so many vegan options before. They even offered vegan miso soup, which is usually hard to find. The sushi was delicious and the prices were affordable. In fact, it was similar to what we would spend at a burger restaurant for a family of four. The only issue was the long wait for our food. It took about 45 minutes from ordering to receiving our meals. It could have been because it was the end of the night. Despite the wait, we would definitely go back the next time we are in the area.

I absolutely love the 70 roll at Aonami Sustainable Sushi. In fact, I have never tried a vegan roll here that I didn't enjoy, including the smoked tofu roll. The complimentary miso soup upon arrival and the welcoming staff always make for a great dining experience. I have never had a negative encounter at this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit.

Had to be in Chico around dinner time so we came back here. So happy we did. We shared the veggie tempura and I had the 20th roll (asparagus, avocado, cucumber, daikon sprouts, spicy miso sauce and crunchy shallots). Fantastic!

Best vegan sushi I've ever had. hands down. definitely the place to go if you are visiting.

Highly recommend the tofu tuesday special. All their rolls are bomb though, can't go wrong here.
