Italian Cottage - Chico

Had a birthday party for my daughter, very pleasant waitresses. The food is excellent, the family had an amazing time. The food was perfectly timed to perfection. My wife and kids absolutely loved the salads. Best salad that I 've tasted exact words from their mouths lol.

Love the Hot Pastrami with grilled onions and pepper jack cheese!!! They also have great lasagna. Speedy Irene is the best server, never intrusive but always ready to get what you need. I had the 1/2 chicken ceser salad and it was very good.

I had a roast beef sandwich and it was excellent. The waitress was super. She always checked to see if we needed anything. My first timer there, but I will go again

Have been coming here for years! Consistent and great quick meal if on a lunch break. Their beef dip is legendary

If you're a local then you've been to the Italian cottage. The food is still great. The servers are always polite. I just miss the sawdust on the floors, hence 4 stars on atmosphere. These place is great, low sensory output, dimmed lights, and private seating allows for intimate conversations over a glass of Vino and some pasta. One last hint: try their French dip with pepperjack cheese. You won't be disappointed.
