The service was not very impressive, and the food felt overpriced considering the fish was not particularly fresh.

December 19 2022, got a teriyaki salmon, gyoza, the spider, and the pepper fin. The gyoza were good but sauce was weirdly odd. The pepper fin fish was cut too thick to be able to enjoy the fish with the sauce without the fish overtaking the sauce. The teriyaki salmon was thick, sauce was super salty and not sweet at all like how it should be. Can’t even start with thinking if I had gotten the chicken teriyaki and it was salty. The coleslaw didn’t have enough sauce, and then the teriyaki salmon was brought out by an older asian lady waitress who seemed like she didn’t know where the food she was bringing out was going to which table. The Asian waitress was waiting for some type of confirmation before she put the salmon teriyaki down on the table. The unagi sauce on the spider was salty too, no sweetness at all and size of the sushi roll was too big to be bite size. The ratio of rice to the insides were ok. The tables were very close to the other tables and another customer was staring at my partner. No parking, space was crowded with no wheelchair accessibility, the menu didn’t have enough options, and only one vegetarian roll. I spent $82 and was very disappointed. If you want sushi I would recommend going to Genkai by mangrove or rice bowl.

I have always loved Japanese Blossoms since I moved to Chico and tried it. Hands down the best Sushi place in town. I know for a fact they utilize the freshest fish and crab as I spoke to the owner about their sourcing. Friendly staff and a modern atmosphere add to the experience. Be prepared to spend some money though as sushi isn't and shouldn't be cheap. Parking: Very tough to find parking as the lot is really small. Wheelchair accessibility: The building is accessible but doesn't have automatic doors

The Killer Roll is so good, it's just the right blend of flavors. The veggie options are really solid also. We shared the tempura banana and apple with ice cream and we still couldn't finish it. Love this place!

Closed everywhere? How do you sell gift cards then close every location?! Horrible!
