Las Tapatias Taqueria - Chico

I've been here for about a month from the Sonoma critique. Been sensitive to Mexican food (taquerias) and I finally found it. Come on, get the Burrito, the Salsas are actually sharp.. It's like home. If you know, you know.

Tasty authentic mexican cuisine at a fair price. Expect to pay around $10 to $15 per person for lunch. Good portions served hot and fresh. Lunch time can get busy so expect a delay between 11:30am to 1pm. The chips and salsa are complimentary along with a great salsa bar. After 15 plus visits my experience of Las Tapatias is consistently positive. It's one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants in the area.

This place has some of the best Mexican food in town, especially the barria tacos. Tonight the wait was a little longer than usual and the staff offered us a free drink on the house, I got their house made pineapple juice which was delicious. They didn’t need to do that at all, but it was a great gesture and I will definitely be coming back for more.

Looks a bit outdated but the street tacos were delicious. I had the chicken and asada street tacos. If you like spicy definitely try the chili oil. Definitely stopping by if ever in the area. Wish I had photos to post.

The service was great. Food was fresh and made fast. The aguas frescas were delicious. Jamicia insanely good. Overall a great dining experience.
