It’s quite far off the beaten path, situated in a strip mall that resembles a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie (there's even a rusty video rental bin outside). However, the food stands out impressively against the competition in the Bay Area. The sesame balls were likely the best I've ever had, boasting an unusually crispy exterior. The pork chops were large and fluffy, featuring a subtle sweetness in the dough and actual slices of pork inside, unlike the minced versions you find at many other places. I was also quite taken with the... you know what, forget it. I’ll just stop the review here and recommend you try it for yourself!
This restaurant is truly one of the hidden gems in Chico! The ambiance is both relaxing and romantic. The service strikes the ideal balance between privacy and attentiveness. The food was simply outstanding; the dishes featured not only delightful traditional flavors but also a remarkable Umami kick.
This is the best Asian cuisine in town. I've tried several other restaurants, and none compare. The staff is incredibly friendly and quick, and it’s hard to believe I grew up in this city without discovering this gem. I highly recommend it—if you're in search of Asian food, this is the spot to visit.
Best Chinese in town. Servers are always attentive and quick to help. it usually calm, so it is good to have a date or lunch with a friend and help to keep a relaxed atmosphere. The prices are slightly higher than normal, but the food is worth it. You can say that everything is done by hand and fresh then.
Ordered hot and sour soup, with a side of steamed rice. Got home it was still hot. Eat half of it.... and it was so- so delicious. Will definitely be back, next time dinner in.... go try it. So good. Off the beaten path but so worth it.
