Turquoise Coffee Stop - Chillicothe

Such a gem! We were eager for a good cup of bougie coffee on a long stretch of empty road and Turquoise was better than we hoped! Incredible coffee (from two coffee snobs) and the owners were pleasant. A personable, quick conversation and good coffee to break up stagnant road! Nothing better!

Stopped for a pick me up on our way to Kansas and while I wish the cup sizes were normal (the medium is 12oz and the large is 16, no small) the coffee was phenomenal!! Not bitter at all. I got 3 shots in a large iced caramel macchiato and it was perfect! Didn’t try any food but I will definitely be stopping by next time we drive through.

I really appreciate the generous coffee portions at this restaurant, and I particularly enjoy their cherry-flavored mocha. However, I have significant issues with the owner’s narrow-minded, prejudiced, and anti-intellectual life philosophy. While they may say they promote open dialogue, their methods seem to fall flat with younger generations such as millennials and Gen Z.
