Gen Korean Bbq House - Chino Hills

Party of 4. First order received was not enough meat to feed 2. We continued to order meat but got ultra slow service and micro portions. It’s incredible disappointing and stressful. We are all hungry and it feels like the portions are intentionally small. Will NOT be coming back. Horrible service and staff seemed unconcerned over the situation.Parking: None

Disappointing. My family was the 2nd in line at 12:30pm for over 10 minutes and no one even came up to greet us. The staff seemed like they didn't even care. We left before we were sat at the table.Update. Our kids wanted to go back a couple of days later for dinner. The service was better (we were seated in a decent amount of time and our server was helpful), the food was great and our kids loved the experience!

Annice our waitress was not very good at keeping track of food requests. We asked for water 3 times and it came at the very end when we are about to leave. Also she only brought about half of the things we ordered. The chop che was stale. It felt hard. The food just didnt taste as good as other timesFood: 3/5

I visited Gen in Chino Hills to celebrate a birthday, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had! It took about 10 minutes to get my grill changed. When the meats were brought to our table, they were the wrong ones. I tried to talk to the manager, but he didn’t check on us or take any steps to make our visit better. Food rating: 1/5.

Normally when I go to different GEN BBQ places the service is just Par and the food takes a while to come out. But this branch in Chino Hills the staff are super friendly and caters to your needs in the quickness. Although your limited to 4 meats at a time, they come out fast and you can order again right away. Also the meat is fresh and when cooked correctly it’s super delicious! I highly recommend this location, thank you so much for having us.
