Írjon visszajelzéstWalked in today at 8ish, with the lady at the front door, looking at me and seems like they don't really wanna serve us. Asked for a table for three and I thought the restaurant is ready to close so I asked the lady at the bar 'Are you closing?' She answered 'No', but then looked at the chef next to her and said 'Maybe? Or we should?' Perhaps she thought it's funny or simply a joke, or perhaps she thought I couldn't hear it or maybe she didn't expects I would have understand because I have an Asian face! Tbh, it sounds ridiculously impolite and rude. I said Thank you and walked away with my family. Is it because I'm an Asian or some other reasons, I don't care, but with this kind of service, thanks God, would never ever walk in again or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Maybe, you guys should consider closing, like forever? Perhaps haha.
Andiamo Trattoria is a traditional Italian restaurant along the up-and-coming Kensington Street which serves a variety of classic dishes ranging from pizzas to pastas. I visited the popular Trattoria yesterday and found that the food and service were simply substandard. I ordered the meatballs for entree and spaghetti aglio olio for the main course but was served a meatball spaghetti. The service staff was simply too busy and were virtually nowhere to be found. The spaghetti was half-soaked in oil and it made me extremely uncomfortable after a while. For a plate spaghetti which costs $24, there is nothing particularly special about the restaurant and I think we can all make them at home.
Service was lovely! Staff were super attentive and happy to help. Food was great! We ordered a half and half pizza (vegetarian, seafood), gnocchi (with sundries tomato, eggplant, olives and Napoletana sauce), garlic bread and salad. All came in perfect time. The gnocchi was fluffy and tasteful, pizza had that lovely crispy bottom. Will definitely be coming back soon.
Great place, most places you wouldn't go to get a margarita, however here you can truly enjoy the purity of flavours! For a very nice looking and feeling restaurant, the price is very reasonable, a they also have specials throughout the week!Highly recommended!
It's a pizza pasta chain in disguise... if you want hearty, filling food with inexpensive toppings this is for you. Service is ok. Trying to be something it's not.
