Golden Fang - Chippendale

Close to USYD and price is extremely reasonable. This is my most often visited restaurants when I studied at USYD, loads of memory about it. There was one time that I failed a assignment and I didn't have any appetite to eat. And I just ran into this place and ordered a fried noodle , and that noodle tasted like home :(

Golden Fang is probably one stall that tastes closest to the dai pai dang in Hong Kong, Zi Char in Singapore and economic rice shops in Asia. The sweet and sour pork is magnificent and it tastes exactly like what you get in Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysia. Very popular with students too

Everything there taste like leftovers, waiters are rude, Just yelling at people and force you to sit with other people while there are still plenty of empty tables around!

Average food, huge portion, cheap price, overall a nice place for a quick meal without too much damage. Their roast duck/pork dishes were alright; but I didn't like the lemon chicken as it was mind boggling sweet, made me wondering if it was meant to be a dessert.

I find it difficult to comprehend how anyone could give this place a bad review. The food is cheap, tasty and comes in generous portions. Highlights are the BBQ pork and lemon chicken. Other dishes I often order are the steamed pork dumplings, garlic spinach, beef omelette and the pan fried pork buns.
