I decided to try this restaurant, but I was really disappointed. The udon lacked any flavor, the chicken teriyaki was bland, and the chicken was tough. The vegetable tempura was undercooked, and the nigiri was only average at best. I won't be returning to this restaurant, marking it as another unsuccessful attempt at finding good Japanese food here.
Ordered the chipotle roll, pork gyoza and the King Roll. Pork gyoza was yummy. The rolls were good. I wouldn't say it's the best I've had it did the job for sushi craving. Service was good the waiter was very attentive in the beginning We had a different waiter that seemed to be serving all the tables. Pretty big space lots of seating inside and at the sushi bar. Parking was easy huge parking lot.
I ordered food to go at 4:46pm in the order it said it would be ready by 5:06pm didn't get the order until 5:25pm. I asked what was the reason and hostess said we are missing 1 item.Order was very basic nothing fancy cucumber roll, veggie roll, fried rice (small order) and calamari appetizer. This is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars. Food is always good. Hostess apologized for the delay when she handed food.
Flip was amazing. He recommended the King Roll along with the spicy Edamame and of course and can't forget the Sake! We had the Coconut flavor and it was delicious
Rice was good, however rolls fell apart when picking up (from being badly rolled). Taste was not much better than store bought, not impressed, one of the toppings on one of them tasted off. Expected this to be our neighborhood sushi, but unfortunately will have to keep looking.Food: 2/5
