Catalano Pizzeria - Cibolo

We decided to pay in cash, and my friend said she would check with the city regarding the policy as we left. Then, Mr. Catalano came outside to tell us that the 4% was due to credit card fees. I pointed out that it was actually 3%, and he corrected me by insisting it was 4%. I told him that was fine, but he needed to inform customers ahead of time. He claimed it was posted on the front door, so I walked over to check, but there was no sign. He admitted he had taken it down, saying it wasn’t his charge but rather that of the credit card company. His demeanor was frustrating; he couldn’t maintain eye contact and seemed fidgety. My friend commented that it seemed like they only apply the additional 4% to some customers, which isn’t fair. I’m puzzled as to why they need to calculate the charges and then enter them on a different machine, and I don't understand why the extra fee isn't clearly posted anywhere. If you're looking for a great meal and excellent service, just remember to add at least 4% to your bill, and you'll leave feeling satisfied.

We've dined here numerous times and consistently find the food to be outstanding! I would encourage everyone to visit and indulge in a wonderful meal accompanied by exceptional service. Keep up the great work!

Avoid visiting on a Friday night, especially before 5 PM. The service is terrible. I won't be returning. We've been waiting nearly 40 minutes for our food. If you have nothing else to do but sit and wait, then this might be the place for you.
