Las Mamparas - Cienfuegos

Cheap, friendly to foreign tourists. very delicate dessert.

Eating was great, fairly cheap, but not cheap in the quality! drinks were among the cheapest we had in Cuba service, was extremely good to take care of everything immediately. one of our best experiences in Cuba!

Great food and decent prices. a nice change after some moderate restaurant experience also in habana. the suppen were great, the vegetarian paella was unexpectedly good for a paella without meat and fish. and the vegetarian curry (not on the menu and a wish of my wife) was also excellent.

The place has a beautiful, artistic atmosphere and is well located, so they can come as they have a walk to punta gorda. Portions are quite large and eating is good and tasty, although you can find more sophisticated restaurants in the city. the waiters are very helpful and entertaining when there are fewer customers, but when the place gets fuller, it is quite difficult to get their attention.

A small restaurant seems a familiar in one. Reasonable price and the food is quite good. We came here 3 times during our 5-day stay in Cienfuegos. We tried for both dinner and lunch. The lunch menu with good price (we went to a cafe close by for breakfast and they charged even higher... The grilled dishes are quite good. The soup is ok, a bit too salty. The drink is actually quite good. During dinner time always a line and good to come early otherwise may need to wait up to one hour.
