Lupo's S S Char Pit

I visited and determined to get my hometown Delikatesse. I tried the lamb spiedy with one side of pasta salad. It wasn't disappointing, wasn't as hot as I like it, but ate it anyway. Time, price and wait. The person who took my order did not seem enthusiastic, the atmosphere could use a makeover.

Only real Spiedie joint in town.... except they don't use Italian bread. Lamb is excellent. Everything else is good too. Place isn't the cleanest but the food (particularly the speidies) make it a 6 out of 5.... the decor is a 3 and service a 5. Overall... its a 5 plus.

The original Speidies. Got some pre-marinaded lamb and pork Speidies to save myself the several days of waiting. Great food, legendary local specialty.

Fabulous! Delicious salad! Fresh and tasty ingredients.. Great staff, good parking and all for a very reasonable price!

Very clean and bright. Food is reasonably priced and made fresh in front of you, not hidden under a heat lamp for who knows how long. Their speidies ate outstanding!!
