Feast And Floret - City of Hudson

We made a reservation for lunch through Resy and visited the restaurant. It has a charming and cozy atmosphere, with an enclosed outdoor seating area on the front porch and a stylish indoor dining space. The interior is beautifully decorated with flowers, giving it a quaint and chic vibe. We sampled the octopus and tender rib, both of which were outstanding. We truly enjoyed our lunch, as we wanted to soak in the ambiance and decor while it was still daylight. We will definitely return and highly recommend it for brunch, lunch, and even romantic dates.

The ambience is stunning, enhanced by a mix of dried and fresh flowers throughout the space. They operate a flower stand, and everything from the decor to the seating and the fresh flowers on the tables was simply lovely. The hostesses were very welcoming and helpful, especially when it came to assisting me with purchasing a bouquet at the end of our meal, even though it was a busy lunchtime. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the burrata, meatballs, and Brussels sprouts for appetizers, and for our main courses, we ordered two of the specials: pan-seared halibut with cauliflower purée and kale, and homemade pappardelle with broccolini and chili flakes. Everything was delicious, but the pasta and halibut were truly exceptional. Honestly, it was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. The halibut was cooked perfectly, simply seasoned with salt, yet it had an incredible depth of flavor. It paired wonderfully with the cauliflower, which had a nice zing to it. We were a bit disappointed with the burrata because the accompanying vegetables and bread had an overwhelming smoky flavor that overshadowed the creaminess of the cheese. However, I have no other complaints about this place. I can’t wait to dine here again the next time we’re in Hudson!

The service needs work.One server came to pick up the plates and asked how the food was. We mentioned we didn't enjoy the salad (too bitter, proportions were off) never asked for it be taken back or off the bill we were happy to pay for it we were just answering his question. Another server came over and asked why we didn't enjoy the salad.Then a THIRD person presumably the manager though he never introduced himself also asked why we didn't enjoy the salad.Most of our dinner ended up turning into a repeated conversation about a salad that we just didn't happen to care for!Things dwindled from there.The server brought out a fresh plate a pasta for me with the tongs from the salad placed on top. (Weird). And then when we ordered another glass of Prosecco, the server forgot the order and we couldn't track him down to remind him.... He returned 30 minutes later... acknowledged he forgot the drink.... And moved on.... Most servers would've just brought the drink out anyway as a courtesy for forgetting the drink. We were looking forward to coming here! Great reviews the pasta was good but we were disappointed by the service

Feast and Floret is a farm to table Italian restaurant that is in the heart of Hudson. My friend and I went on a Friday night without a reservation, BIG MISTAKE!! We got there fully expecting to be able to get a table and we definitely did not. They put us on the waiting list and I would say they were suppsoed to call me when a table was available and they never did. We went back hours later and the hostess said she tried to call, I don't know maybe something was wrong with their phone. But anyways we were able to get a table 30mins before they closed.The food was small portions (except for the piece of chicken which was huge) but they were delicious. You can tell it's high quality food and the prices reflect that. For two people with drinks be expected to drop at least $100. Our waiter was super nice and friendly. He answered our questions and provided perfect service. The ambiance of this place is 10/10. It reminds me of being in Italy with the stone walls and how cozy the place is. We got the table right beside the real working fire place which in my opinion is the best table in the whole place, I think the hostess felt bad about the phone call issue.I definitely feel like this is a cute date spot or girls night. It's a little pricey for this to be my daily casual spot but for a nice treat this is definitely a cute place.

One of the best meals I've had in years! A friend and I were visiting Hudson and had dinner here before an event. We were blown away. We shared the grilled flatbread with arugula pesto, tagliatelle bolognese, bucatini amatriciana, panna cotta, and a post-meal coffee. We were scraping every bowl and plate clean trying to get every possible bite out of this meal. Truly incredible flavors. The pesto was fresh and bright, the white bolognese was creamy, the amatriciana was soooo rich, and the dessert was just perfect. Service was fast (but not rushed and attentive. I was also ready for the meal to be pricey, but we were pleasantly surprised by the bill. I would have happily paid double for this meal (maybe that's because I'm used to NYC prices!!
