Írjon visszajelzéstCame here early on a Saturday afternoon, and ordered the Full Lebanese breakfast from the breakfast/brunch menu. Opted for the lamb merguez version (could of picked halloumi, chorizo or lamb merguez). The dish was a Lebanese twist on the full English, and boy was it delicious. Every thing on the plate tasted really fresh and all the ingredients worked really well together. I was actually surprised at how something that looked so simple tasted so great. Not cheap at £10.50, but in line with the majority of places in Brixton, and a nice treat. It's the first time I've eaten at French and Grace having walked past it many a time, I'll definitely be returning to try their wraps off the back of the breakfast I had. Great place to sit, really yummy fresh breakfast, go and treat yourself!
At the Green Man festival I was delighted to see the French and Grace stall as they had a brilliant selection of vegetarian food. I bought a falafel salad and halloumi wrap but to my horror as I walked away from the stall I managed to drop the whole salad on the floor. Despite being incredibly busy, a kind and very friendly staff member immediately replaced my food for free. A wonderful gesture which made the already delicious food taste even better. Thank you so much!
I am a local I have been living in brixton for over ten years.French&Grace in Brixton Village is my little hide away place. The food is simple but oooh soooo delicious.Trust me,I am french,I like my food.I particularly like F&G's leek and emmental croque madame (not always on the menu sadly) or fried egg on toast with avocado and their home made chorizo jam (you can bring a piece of that food heaven home if you buy the jam 5£ and worth every penny). Go on try French and Grace. You will not be disappoint by their food and the service is very friendly. Enjoy !
You know what they say about the best things coming in small packages This is certainly true of French Grace. This is a seriously small eastblishment with possibly 4 6 covers inside and rom for possibly a handful of additional people outside. Located within the sheltered environment of Brixton Market, it was one of the few places actually open before 10am for a couple of people looking for breakfast. We had the Full Lebanese breakfast. which was freshly cooked and tasted fabulous. We visit Brixton regularly to go see one of our daughters who lives there and this will be somewhere we'll visit again (possibly trying out what they offer at lunch times or in the evening.
I absolutely adore F&G. It is the go-to restaurant for my husband and me for our date nights. The menu offers a wonderful variety of main dishes and small sharing plates. Our favorite is the za'tar flatbread with lamb. We enjoyed it so much that we now always order two, although we may have gotten a little greedy. The daily specials are the true standouts here. Chef Rosie is not only delightful but also incredibly creative, taking what could be ordinary Middle Eastern dishes and elevating them with local ingredients and seasonal flavors. I highly recommend visiting F&G and indulging in as many dishes as possible. It is absolutely worth it.
