Írjon visszajelzéstSpicy Fingers is along that restaurant row in Greenbelt that comes alive at night. While they are popular as a drinking place mainly because they have a very long Happy Hour where the drinks are P50 to P60 an order...very cheap if you're drinking in Makati. I wouldn't say that their bartending skills are world-class given the drinks are often laden with too much alcohol, but it should be good enough to get a group of 5 or 6 people really drunk really fast without burning a hole in your pocket. In the afternoon, the vibe at Spicy Fingers is very different. This is actually one of the places I frequent for lunch on a daily basis. They have cheap meals that go for P135 which already includes one serving of iced tea. The food is pretty good. All their viands are flavorful. My favorites are the Pan fried Marinated Pork chop with Pineapple, Hickory Style Pork Belly, Spicy Fingers Beef Stew and the Salisbury Steak. I take clients for lunch in this restaurant because it doesn't leave a huge dent on my budget yet it's in a nice, cozy place to talk business.
Spicy Fingers used to be THE place to go if you wanted to get hammered. This was back in my college days, of course. College parties and soirees were always held here. There would always be free-flowing drinks and good. Yeah, it was crazy cray! Now that my college days are over, I think this place aged with me. The place has become a venue for corporate events and a last resort place to eat and drink. What Spicy Fingers is known for now is it 's Happy Hour. It starts at 4PM and ends at 8PM. You have an assortment of cocktails and shots to choose from for only Php50-60 per drink. It 's basically a cocktail buffet! When they rolled this out, I remember it being only 5 cocktails: Tequila Sunrise, Vodka Sprite, Rum Coke and 2 other drinks that involved an entry drink (LOL . I, of course, would always order the Tequila Sunrise and stick with that until evening. In my most recent visit, there are about 10 cocktails and 8 shots to choose from! About the taste of the drinks, they are a bit watered down but, they get the job down. So, if you want super cheap drinks for your pre-game, go here! About the food, they have a good selection of appetizers and beer munchies. But, I think you should reserve your hunger pangs for another restaurant. :
This review is for the bar. Had a couple of beers (San Miguel lite) for 60p+ each. Nice fans to cool you down, lots of tvs (television and transvestites), and good service
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure how to rate my experience at Spicy Fingers. So, I'll start with the facts: Pros: They've got a beautiful outdoor seating area They've got great live music through the night (indoors ! Good food! Cheap! Friendly service, they'll do their best to accommodate your needs (in our case, sitting downstairs Cons: While there seating for parties of more than 2, you need to arrive early or you'll be seated upstairs They frown upon people not ordering drinks (i.e. don't just get a water VERY loud The clientele, into the night We came across Spicy Fingers after shopping our day away at the Glorietta and Greenbelt complexes. It had come highly recommended for the live music, and we decided to give it a try. We ordered the spicy fajitas and the spicy quesadilla, both were really good. But I definitely recommend the Fajitas. The meat was on a regular sizzling skillet but came in a sauce, which was AMAZING. They don't have an extensive selection of beer, but they do have all the necessary ones (Hoegaarden, Stella, San Miguel . From what I remember, all imported beer was approx PHP 240, whereas local beer came in around 120ish. So, at between $2 and $5 for a beer, it was definitely cheap for alcohol. We watched Bluegrass and Climax (apparently also known as Musik Karamay (sp? perform their sets. Both performed 3 sets, were entertaining and took requests from the crowd in addition to performing their setlists. The only issue was that the music was REALLY loud. The venue, while insulated and sound proofed, was tiny for the decibel at which the music was playing. So far, so good, right? Here's where things change: When we entered at about 9ish, and the clientele was mostly locals. As the night progressed, the clientele changed drastically; much older expat men (probably in their 60s started coming in with younger local girls. As we got later into the night, there was an increasing number of girls arriving with a single guy. Now, don't get me wrong I am not a prude. I'm aware of the realities of life, and the way things work, more so in Southeast Asian developing countries. But, there's a point where the amount of sleaze in a room becomes unbearable: when you're outnumbered by these men and their personal harems. It's actually incredibly uncomfortable to watch men your dad's age grope much younger women at an establishment that wasn't promoted as one. And honestly, why on earth does a sixtyish year old dude need three girls? At his age, he's more likely to get tired with just one, than they are. I'm ranting, I know. I'm sorry. I think I was just upset because I was caught off guard; it's always different when you mentally prepare yourself for the establishment you're going to. None of the other reviews mention this so I think it's an important fact to bring to light. That caveat aside, I definitely recommend coming here for a drink and the music.
Fun, clean, and good food. The pizzas are great... Fritz (our waiter) was a blast and has a fantastic sense of humor!!!! We had a great time!
