Írjon visszajelzéstI discovered this restaurant while searching for a quick meal on Google Maps as we headed to Prospect Park. When you first enter, it resembles a bodega, but the dining area is actually located in the back. Despite the lunchtime hustle and bustle, we were promptly seated and provided menus by a friendly waitress. She was incredibly patient as I practiced my Spanish while placing our order. We tried the carne asada sopes (which I had never had before), three tacos for about $10, and a cheeseburger with fries. We also enjoyed three bottles of Coke, but they also offered beer, Jarritos, and horchata. Everything was delicious—especially the fries! Our food did take a while to arrive, but that was understandable given the lunch crowd. I have zero complaints about this place; even the salsa was fantastic!
At first glance, it seems like a run-down bodega, but hidden in the back is an amazing Mexican restaurant! You absolutely have to try the “tacos placeros.” It's the only place in NYC I've ever seen them on the menu, and they are massive and incredibly tasty!
As a California native, I can say that this place is a true gem! The torta is absolutely fantastic! They also offer an excellent variety of imported snacks that are hard to find anywhere else.
Large portions of excellent Mexican food! The house special veggie tacos with napoles (cactus) were served with side of verde and mole salsas. So good. Al pastor burrito gets some press. Up front, groceries include tortillas, produce, and specialties like queso cotija. What more do you need? Note: cash only.
This is the kind of place you want to go. If you want really good food. I love Mexican food. One of the best tacos in Brooklyn. Flavor on point. Nice size good price. First time there, won't be my last.
