I love the pasta, is with a Japanese twist to it sooo delish, definitely a must get, and creamy sauce with savory, strong mentaiko flavors. And the cutest toasts that were definitely a little overhyped, the honey lemon combo was a little interesting. And the drinks is so refreshing with strong flavors!
Came in to try the toast while in New York. Absolutely beautiful both to eat and to look at. Watching them make it was stunning. Eating it was pretty great too. The black sesame was an acquired taste for me but I loved it. The berries and cream also awesome. Honey lemon is great. Cinnamon was weakest of the 4 but still good. Great coffee too.
Davelle Lower east side Mentai cod roe pasta Chicken katsu curry Honey lemon toast Mojito Hoji roasted latte Cute little spot. Loved the food. Only a few tables but the wait wasn't too long. Very friendly staff and food was very appetizing. Going to have to come back to try the rest of the menu
An outstanding breakfast that was surprisingly different on 2-July for me in a good way. Service was excellent, hats off to the server who serviced my wife, daughter myself. Definitely stopping by on any future visits in NYC!
For times I stay in Lower East Sides, I always wanted to come to this cute cafe for two reasons: Japanese curry and toast breakfast. When you visit, please pay attention to their menu with charming illustrations. Choosing from toasts with colorful design is like trying out fun patterned shirt. My favorite was black sesame and cream cheese, but I would love to try Mentai Mayo (spicy cod roe) next time.
