The food is good. The portion is generous. The service is good. Definitely go to the place frequently.
Visited on a week day with a friend, the food is excellent. Kimche jiggae and galbi bibimbap with a few beers fixes hunger. A bit disappointed with the service but otherwise everything was good.
I’ve been feeling under the weather lately and was craving some hot Korean soup. This place boasts an extensive variety of soups on their menu. We chose Yookgaejang and Doenjang-jjigae. A word of caution for those new to Korean cuisine: the spice levels can be quite high. For me, though, it was just perfect. The soup was delicious, and their Banchan? Absolutely irresistible – we finished them so quickly, I didn’t even remember to snap a photo! The service was exceptionally welcoming and pleasant.
When they first opened it was very good and busy. Atmosphere was energetic and hip. Food selection were more on the fusion side not the traditional preparation, so they were different and attracted more youngsters. These couple years, we have visit them less and less. Portion went down, flavor was mediocre, prices went up(understand this is everyone due to inflation), and there is not much service either. I actually feel bad, used to be my go to spot with friends and family. Passed by the other night and they had 2-3 tables only for a place that used to be packed and had a line outside waiting to get a table. There is a lot of competition in Ktown, I hope they can overcome this, come up with a solution and prosper again like when they first opened.
