Paneantico Bakery - City of New York

Best eggplant parm of my life! The chicken meatballs are scrumptious, and well-seasoned. The olives aren't salty enough for my taste. The rice balls with sauce are outstanding. Yum, yum , yum!!! Prices are fair.

Paneantico is a neighborhood staple. Classic Italian baked goods, sandwiches and coffees. There's a large selection of everything. This place is always packed with locals. I love coming here for cookie platters for parties and it's a good place to pick up premade pizza dough. The chai latte are some of the best I've had in the neighborhood. I find the pastries to be more on the bready side than flaky. The outdoor dining area does have wait service so you can sit outside and avoid the line. Indoors the place is always packed and I find service to be a bit slow. There always seems to be people here day and night so it's a great meeting spot.

We ate here 3 times during our stay in Brooklyn. Staff are friendly, great breakfast, pastries and coffee and reasonably priced. Would come back on our next trip to NYC.

Best bistro in Bay Ridge, courteous service, great food, picked up some delicious pastries on the way home.
