Fortune Chinese (1681 Mt Hope Ave)

A great spot to get your cravings satisfied! This Chinese spot reminds me of one of the spots I used to frequent when I lived in NYC. The quality of the food is great, the speed of which they prepare your order … in particular with NYC. Definitely worth a try. I say worth a try because everyone has their personal flavor pallet that I cannot account for. I just know they got the right seasoning in their cooking. Check them out at least one.

First time ordering from this restaurant for lunch and the food was delicious and has great portions! I ordered the General Tso's chicken w/ pork fried rice, steamed dumplings and a pork egg roll. General Tso's to me is more sweet than spicy but still yummy. The steamed dumplings were flavored right and the dipping sauce was spot on and the egg roll was perfect! The only complaint I have is the pork fried rice is a little basic in flavor. However the amount of pork in the rice is fantastic in comparison to other restaurants. Overall for the price you pay and the quantity of food you get is well worth it.

The food is delicious, always ready early or on time, always piping hot, and NEVER incorrect!!!!
