Írjon visszajelzéstDuring our second week, my son and I joined the Saratoga Bills Backers at PJs BarBQSA. It was great to be among fellow Buffalo Bills fans and connect with others from the Bills Mafia. Although the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and has a somewhat limited menu, everything we tried was delicious, and they offered a nice variety of beers. I can't wait to go back—Go Bills!
Although the dishes were tasty, we were let down by the small portions relative to their prices. We ordered two children's chicken meals, which included two sides and a drink. Each meal consisted of two pre-frozen baked chicken strips (which were not fully cooked), along with apple sauce and a Capri Sun. For the sides, one meal had half an ear of corn and the other had a 2 oz container of macaroni and cheese. My 8-year-old kids were not impressed and were still hungry afterward. My husband and I thought we had ordered a meal for two, which included three meats and two regular sides for about $40, along with two beers (one local and one Bud Light in a can). The regular sides were only about 4 ounces each, roughly the size of a half-cup. We tried the macaroni and cheese, which had a bland taste and texture as if it came straight from a pan, while the potato salad was quite tasty, along with the cornbread. For the meats in the "3 region tour," we had the smoked turkey (excellent), brisket (excellent), and dark meat chicken (also excellent), but once again, the portions were too small for adults, let alone two adults. We were just disappointed. On a positive note, the staff who assisted us with our order were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience more pleasant. However, they really need to improve the portion sizes. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
Delicious!! We tried the burnt ends, tender and moist brisket, and Kansas City ribs, accompanied by macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and cornbread. Everything was so flavorful and delightful! The menu offers many excellent options, including à la carte items. We will definitely be returning.
Large barbecue area in Saratoga/Upstate NY. You have a large menu with endless sauce/season options. All the classic secondary dishes you would find on a BBQ menu, we tried the Coleslaw and Cornbread, delicious! Hush puppies were a bit dry. You draw the inspiration from the BBQ from all over the country and add a few spins to NY favorites like waking rolls! The wings had a delicious smoke taste and good taste on them. It was quite empty on a Wednesday afternoon, but I am sure it is packed in the evenings and especially during the football/ball season.
I always love the food here. You expect to pay a bit more then average but you also get quality food and large portion sizes. The best part in my opinion is the barbeque sauce selection. My favorite is always gonna be the Tennessee whiskey one. Love love love it. I'm a creature of habit so I usually get the pulled pork, but I can get it every time and not be disappointed. It's a great place to get collard greens while in the north and not be disappointed in them, kinda rare. But had a great experience as always.
