Casa El Tortugo Drakes Kitchen

We are here twice during our stay and enjoyed fantastic food. It was really refreshing to have food with seasoning on it! The only thing more refreshing was the maracuya juice, which was really nice and zingy. Super friendly service as you would expect here

Probably one of the best places we’ve eaten since we have been in Costa Rica. We had two ceviches the mixed was good but the river one was really good. We loved the smashed plantains served with it. We also had the mixed seafood with garlic which had a big mix of all kinds of shell fish a couple of crabs, fish and lobster. Reserve the table as we were lucky to get in.

We had the baby ribs and some spaghetti. The ribs were really, really good; the spaghetti with vegetables were ok. We paid with card, what means +13% BUT after we got home I got a message from my bank that they tried to pay another amount with my credit card. Unacceptable. Luckily my bank rejected the booking.

Really nice food. We had dinner here several times and we always loved it. Rooms were clean and cozy. Wifi was always available and strong enough for streaming Netflix. Climate control was working for our stay. location was right next to a river and very close to the beach. Staff was kind and helpful!

The restaurant is very well located on a river that flows into the pacific. There are numerous delicious dishes including vegetarian options. The prices are excellent! The staff is very friendly.
