Capital Bistro Panama

We had a wonderful evening and dinner at this charming restaurant. The view from the patio is breathtaking. The service was friendly and the food was delicious.

We ordered fish and calamari at the restaurant. The fish was delicious and succulent, but the salad was disappointing – just a simple green salad cut into pieces with some sauce, a little grated cheese, and croutons. Unfortunately, vegetables were not available. The calamari dish, specifically the Calamares Andaluz, was a letdown. They were not seasoned well and were tough and dry, almost like rubber bands. They were also cut into thin rings instead of being deep fried briefly to maintain their crispiness and succulence. Additionally, the dish came with only a small wedge of lime as accompaniment.
