After going to Mr Micks (on a suggestion) and being turned away due to them being over booked, we ended up at Larrys. I tell you what, Mr Micks did us a huge favour not being able to give us a table because, by far and away, the garfish, chips and full salad meal we had at Larry's was the BEST fish meal I have ever had. Even my husband loved the food. We kept eating until we were stuffed full. They give you a decent serving size! Great value for money too!

We stopped for a quick meal with the kids during our road trip and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had noticed Larry's Take Away when we were walking in the main street earlier in the day and decided that would be where we would go to buy some dinner to take back to our hotel. We each ordered the Fish Pack, 2 small pieces of crumbed garfish, chips and garden salad, served with tartare sauce and a lemon wedge. The fish was okay, chips delicious, golden, crispy and hot and the salad was so fresh and very generous in proportion. We did enjoy our meal, although we would probably choose a different fish from garfish another time, a minor difference.While we waited for our order we looked at the menu on the board and they had so much to choose from. As well as the normal chicken/seafood choices they did burgers, hot dogs and pizzas. Two others were dining in while we waited and their roast chicken and vegetable plates that came out looked good too.
