Avoca - CLARENCE GARDENS

I went there for lunch and ordered the haloumi burger and the fish and chips. Both dishes were enjoyable, and the portion sizes were just right—not too large. The service was courteous and efficient. Great job!

The service was incredibly friendly, even during the busy long weekend. Ally and what I believe was the manager (an attractive middle-aged blonde woman with glasses) were both very welcoming and accommodating when I didn’t realize that masks were still mandatory in South Australia (I'm from Melbourne). The portion sizes were generous, and the grilled vegetables were the best I’ve ever had, along with the delicious chips, all for just $25. The steak was tasty too!

We had the butter chicken, chicken schnitzel with blue cheese sauce and beef snitzel with the Avoca topping. All meals were great, well balanced and well prepared. The side salad is an item I really enjoyed, could of had a whole plate of it. Excellent customer service experience too. Don't drive past this place without stopping in.

Sometimes i wonder how restaurants and hotels get their google scores. Well after arriving at the Avoca I think their 4.0 should be way closer to a 5. Astounding service, great food, and a nice atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Worth a visit.
