Chophouse '47 - Clarendon County

The interior was beautiful and the atmosphere was great. The service was also incredible with friendly staff who were quick and knowledgeable. Brussel sprouts were burnt and dried out and the steak was subpar. My wife and I were very excited to come and try this place out but we were disappointed at the end. There are other places that offer better steaks for these prices.

Service was impeccable, as is reservation seating. The mâitre d' will not seat you until your reservation time, so don't arrive too early. Also, all members of your party must be present before the mâitre d' will seat you. If you are a person with a sensitive palate you will not care for the cheesy mashed potatoes. I was dismayed that this restaurant would serve a dish made with dehydrated potatoes. Order the baked potato instead.

Steak was great but these desserts were fantastic!!

Horrible customer service, horrible hostess, waited 10 minutes after arrival with reservations.
