Cabin was exactly what we are looking for and is set in a beautiful location. Dead quiet at night, except for the strange sound of nature. The food is also great!!! We would sit on the station veranda and enjoy food / cocktail after a day activities. Very relaxing. Enjoy our stay so much we see back in autumn.
Ross and his family are the best. Highly impressed with the Sawmill Station’s new ownership. Ross and Natasha and Sid are head and shoulders the best hosts in the area for whatever outdoor activity you are seeking- horses, hiking, MTB, motorcycle, ATV, UTV, Jeep, etc. When planning routes for the day you might think you have a good plan, but then you ask Ross and he will likely say, “Well that’s pretty good plan- but if you want an even BETTER route you might try......” And this usually makes your day even better! Add to that the best breakfast burritos (home made salsa! the best burgers in the valley (the Ross Burger! and did I mention milkshakes? Yep those are to die for. Great people that help you make great experiences. Highly recommended.
We will definitely be back. Great service and very friendly staff. I originally reserved for 3 nights and had some friends cancel . I asked if a refund for 1 night was possible and they were very accommodating. They also cancelled our sick friends reservations with no problem. The manager went along with our other friends on a ride and was very helpful. Highly recommend them
My family and my nephew just spent five days here. Very good place to stay. The owners are great people. They are doing all they can to make your stay pleasant. We had a great time.thank you so much.
We had an absolute blast! The Sawmill Station features RV hookups, cozy cabins, a restaurant with fantastic food, ice cream, coffee, a general store, the cheapest gas around, and, best of all, UTV rentals! We rented five new Polaris UTVs and spent a full nine hours exploring the trails on our own. Ross explained that the UTVs come directly from Polaris, and they replace their fleet with new machines every year, which means you’re guaranteed a low-hour vehicle without any mechanical issues. As I mentioned, we spent an incredible nine hours traversing mountain paths, tackling various terrains, exploring old mines, and so much more! I cannot say enough good things about the Sawmill Station. We’ll be sharing this gem with all our friends and family. You will want to do the same when you visit Stanley, ID! Honestly, I should probably keep this place a secret so it can remain our hidden treasure!
