Food is good service needs some work for sure very slow and cold environment tater kegs are great

We stopped in at Coal Mountain on our way to the eastern part of the state. Staff was friendly, professional and fast. The bar was family friendly. Food was OK. Hubby's chicken club was good. The Philly cheesesteak had a cheese that was similar to Velveeta. Staff was great.

We were looking forward to a great burger since that's what we got last summer. This time... what a disappointment. We got two classic burgers with no special instructions. Both came at the same time but one was medium or better and the other was very rare. The buns were overly grilled to the point of being crispy like toast. And the fries... cold. They replaced the fries with a hot batch but they were pretty greasy. Time to replace the fryer oil? The cook? or perhaps both? It seemed like a completely different experience compared to last year. They did seem understaffed... two people running the whole place.

Excellent service and great food. Family and pet Friendly. Out on the patio, have a few drinks and play some cornhole for a Great evening. We will definitely be back on our next adventure. Kenneth is the best server as well. Thank you for a wondering experience.
