In 2016 we were camped in Wells Grey Provincial Park. After a day of unbelievable sight seeing and spectacular waterfalls we ended up in Clearwater B.C . We started looking for a place to eat and came upon the Hop and Hog and decided to give it a shot and were not disappointed. I had the pulled pork and it was fantastic. This year we were in Vancouver and planned on using the Yellowhead back to Edmonton just for the purpose of stopping at the Hop and Hog. It was just as i remember. I had the Hop and Hog Bruschetta then followed up with Dry Rubbed Slow Smoked St. Louis Pork Ribs. Both were fantastic .If using the Yellowhead make sure to stop in Clearwater. You will not be disappointed. i will not wait 7 years to go back there next time. Staff are very friendly and food was great. Beer is local and refreshing.

I am a Southern BBQ fan and this place did not disappoint. Whoever is smiling the meat definitely knows what they are doing. Everything we had was fantastic and not a person was disappointed. If you are new to Southern BBQ, go for the brisket, the king of smoked meat.

Delicious food with a great selection of craft beers. Busy in the summertime make a reservation or wait in line. The wait is worth it though!
