Monty's Pizzeria - Clearwater

I ordered a big deluxe pizza you got five toppings for $17.99, but when I'm there, the lady told me that my total was $28. That was my first time and last time. The pizza was okay, but certainly not worth almost $30 and I picked it up. Be careful, prices will change when you get there

So my friends and I were in the city hanging out around the corner and they put me in charge of picking a place to eat after. We had a group of 13 and were all really impressed and happy with everything. The pizza was so good and was served in plentiful servings. My one slice of pizza I ordered was bigger than probably two of my faces combined and was delicious. My friends ordered a 30? inch pizza for a good price and it fed 6 people with leftovers. My other friends tried their pastas and loved it. The restaurant is super clean and they have a pretty good playlist. The service was also amazing. Our drinks were always refilled right when they needed to be and we were frequently checked on. The staff is very friendly as well. I?ll definitely be coming here again.

This is by far my favorite pizzeria in Florida. I haven't been to them all, but in the greater Clearwater/ Tampa Bay area, I pretty much have. The pizza is comforting like many pizzas I've had at old school Italian restaurants all over the country. The salads are fresh, the dough is crisp and chewy, the drinks are cold. It's really great. The prices are also more than fair. Monty's is a must try... ??

Have gotten take out pizza before. Decided to eat in. It was around 5pm on a Saturday, seating was quick. Our server was very friendly. I think her name is Eleanor. I apologize for not remembering. She was informative and helpful. We ordered a pitcher of beer and a large pepperoni pizza. The beer was super cold. It actually had a little ice on top...awesome! I'm from Brooklyn and I'm always looking for good pizza. The pizza was very good. I will say though, it needed to be spun around. One side was a little over cooked. Happens with pizza ovens. I understand that. The prices for their dishes are amazing. I feel they should have a separate area for pick ups. There were a lot of take out orders and the people waiting were standing around watching us eat. The bar area will definitely benefit from a makeover. Perhaps even more beers on tap. We would so sit there to eat and drink. Unfortunately it's being used for storage. Seems like it would help the servers if people stayed. Everyone was very courteous and attentive. Looking forward to going back.
