Panera Bread - Clearwater

We waited in the pick-up area for our food and eventually had to request a refund because the staff—one of whom was a trainer—were making gagging noises and complaining about how disgusting everything was while preparing our meal. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience, definitely one of the worst I've ever had.

I have been visiting this place for nearly two decades, and I've always appreciated the friendly and cheerful atmosphere created by the staff and patrons. However, over the past few years, I've noticed a significant change. People seem to ignore each other more, and when you try to engage, they often don't respond. The atmosphere at various Panera locations has become dull and lifeless, with some patrons appearing quite antisocial and even rude. It's disappointing to see this shift.

This has been the worst experience we've had at a Panera Bread. My partner and I came in when the temperature was 94 degrees with over 100% humidity, and they asked us to sit outside. When we informed them that my partner has a service dog with him, they still made us sit outside. To make matters worse, an employee kept hovering over us, which really took away from our enjoyment of the meal. We couldn't relax or truly appreciate the food, but I can't comment much on it since we were so distracted.

The whole dining room was dirty! I asked someone to clean a table. Four people looked at me like I was crazy. then he began complaining that I had to wipe my table and dry out the table and went to throw away the serviettes and two girls laughing at the front over me as if I was a sweat! there are at least 5 people who just hang around nothing, that's your job.

When you stop for lunch you don't want to be competing for seats with people that have bad internet at home. What's so hard for the management of Panera to understand. Seats and tables are for customers. Customers eat and go home in about a hour.. These office freeloaders stay for hours in seating that is for paying customers. A cup of coffee that last for hours is not paying for the chair. They are here for comfort otherwise they would be at McDonald's
