Le Ruck - Clermont-Ferrand

Went here for a team lunch and it was a good experience. Unfortunately, staff doesn't speak English and I had to use the help of colleagues to order my food. Food was good and so was the service.

Visited Le Ruck for a quick lunch with some business partners. My 2 guest ordered the menu of the day, and I ordered a separate chicken meal. After some minutes they informed us that they were out of chicken. I went for another meal but they didn’t have it either. No problem, it happens, but as I didn’t find anything I like in the rest of the very limited menu, is asked for a starter as mean. I was immediatly insulted by both the waiter, and later the owner of the place. “Only ordering a starter was not possible and a cheap thing to do”, he said. I can understand that you don’t like people who just come to your restaurant, only to order a small starter over lunch... especially if seats are limited in you small restaurant. But due to the circumstances, this would have been a nice thing to do towards a customer. Especially because the 2 other persons at the table were having a full menu. The fact that both the owner as the waiter insulted me was just not acceptable. Very bad experience, very arrogant owner.

We got a table at short notice the menu had a few dishes on. There were lots of clermont supporters also eating dinner which made for a great atmosphere. The waitress was excellent and the food really reasonable price wise. It is right opposite the ground so great ore or post match. The food is a mix of English with some traditional dishes. The desserts were lovely too. Would recommend

Good, good value for money, normal abias for a noon. A good reception, good service and good cuisine quite simple but well done home. The products seemed very suitable for my sensitive stomach. Good first experience

Very good address. A menu of the day always at the top. I recommend.
