Monterrey Mexican - Cleveland

I have been dining at this restaurant since I was a child and it never fails to impress! I ordered the Guadalajara Special with chicken. It is similar to pollo loco but with additional vegetables. It was delicious!

I have been dining at Monterey Mexican restaurants since I was a kid. This particular location is just as fantastic as the others. The food is consistently delicious, with reasonable prices, excellent service, and tasty drinks. I have never had to wait, even when the restaurant is busy.

I would like to give this restaurant 5 stars, but the food quality has declined. However, the prices are still affordable and if you know what to order, you can still get a very satisfying meal.

We ate here several years ago did not have a good experience thought wed give it another try. We entered the restaurant were greeted by an unfriendly hostess. She walked us to our table extremely fast which was rather annoying. We aren 't spring chickens anymore have just each finished up with a 60+ hour work week. We are not in a race to get to our table! (No, she wasn 't busy when we came in, no the restaurant wasn 't so busy for her to act this way. The hostess never cracked a smile or made eye contact at all. Needless to say, we felt unwelcome were not feeling good about our decision to give this place another try. Our server the food made up for it however...I had an enchilada sampler and my husband had another type of sampler so we could get a good feel for the food. We will definitely visit them again!

Don't miss the carnitas! They are perfect especially with the salsa Verde. Yum. Service was excellent, our entire group of 4 had excellent food. Great Job!
