The Jolly Scholar - Cleveland

Without a doubt, this is the best bar in the Uptown/CWRU campus area. The beers are affordable, with a great variety to choose from, and the food is outstanding. Their Sunday all-you-can-eat wings deal is the best in town! Most importantly, the staff is consistently friendly. I've been a regular since they transitioned from Wackadoos, and I still enjoy both the drinks and the atmosphere. It's a must-visit for CWRU students and anyone working in University Circle.

This brewery is excellent! They execute their styles perfectly, and despite being a small venue, they offer an impressive selection of beers on tap. The menu is great, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It can be a bit tricky to find, but it's definitely worth the effort to locate it.

Great food, good beer and alcohol, service ranges from great to just meh when it gets crowded. Wing day on Sundays is an amazing time when the service is great and the wings are on point. A must try for those in/around CWRU.
