My favorite music venue in NE Ohio unpretentious and fun. It's not a large space, so you're never more than 30 feet from the stage. Great beer selection even though I don't think I've ever deviated from PBR tallboys (can't beat the price). They get a wide variety of acts coming through, and they often co sponsor acts at other venues. Grog Shop is an absolute treasure, and I will never stop loving this place
Who doesn't love the Grog Shop? I knew about this place before I ever visited Cleveland. It's legendary among touring bands, the kind who travel in Econoline vans. It's the kind of place where if you roll into town and don't know what to do, just go to the Grog Shop. They'll have somebody good. You probably won't have heard of them, but there's a solid chance you'll buy their record from the merch table before you go home for the night.
It was my first experience ?. I found a parking space free if charge on the curb less than a mile away. Upon entering, I was guided to what appeared different from others. The stage was set right near all the people, like the audience was part of the show.
