Gorilla Grill - Cliffside Park

This restaurant is located in a very nice part of town. The street is clean and the entrance is large and inviting. The staff immediately greeted us despite having gone with an hour to spare before closing.The server we had (I didn 't get his name) was very helpful and prepared all of the food options we ordered. The preparation was quick so if you go hungry you won 't wait longer than 15 minutes to get the grub in your mouth.However if you do go, try to arrive 90 minutes before closing. As I mentioned, we arrived an hour before closing so my partner and I could tell the Staff were eager to head home-but they did an excellent job at customer service nonetheless. We didn 't feel rushed and they only requested payment for the meals before we officially finished. 4 stars for this. Not 5 because I did feel the server could 've made the meat a bit more charred. Be sure to be vocal about what you want. He did ask how we wanted the meat but it still wasn 't brown enough for me at times. Just a 1st world complaint (lol).In comparison to other Korean BBQs, this one was definitely 4/5 stars. They don 't have as many options as other restaurants of similar color but between the seasonings, fast service, well seasoned meats and veggies, environment and music (K-Pop primarily) and inexpensive drinks, this kaleidoscope of characteristics won 't disappoint your emotions nor palate when you 're hungry. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: They serve vegetarian meals but in much more limited options than the meat based optionsParking: If you come here at night you 'll have better chances getting parking. I have a feeling during the day time you 'd have a hard time getting a spot near the restaurant. However I 'm not from the area so I could be wrong.

Great Place, one of my personal favorites. Dave is the manager and THE MAN. Great customer service and they are always looking to give you the best experience as well as take care of you as soon as possible. Best weekend dinner spot and good for dates too. Enjoy!

This review is only about service I saw this place its good reviews on google and wanted to give it a try.I went there (2 people on a Thursday at 8pm. The entire restaurant was completely empty except one table of 2. I was told to wait briefly and led to the our table.I didn’t like the table (bc it was right next to some empty space that seems to be a working area an employee was standing right there like it is his station. So I asked if we can sit by the wall. He said no, because those are for bigger parties. Again- the entire restaurant was empty except one other table of 2 and they were seated by the wall. Then I asked if I can sit just a couple tables down, now he just smirked.So we left and went to Cast Iron Pot instead.

The food was fantastic and the staff was welcoming and funny all around an amazing experience. Definitely glad we picked this for dinner and my kids thought it was amazing even though they had never had it before. I got thumbs up all around for finding this gem. When we come back this way we will definitely go here againFood: 5/5

When I got in throught the week there was only one server, meat was served late, and he sometimes forgot too. Took a long time to get our orders. The food was good, but the service was not too good and the atmosphere was ordinary.Food: 4/5
