Smashburger - Clifton

This was my first time ever at a Smashburger and honestly it was my last. I ordered the Double Bacon Smashburger with regular french fries and a Cookies and Cream shake. It took about 15 minutes to get my order and even when it was finished, dining in there's a sense of hesitation the staff gives because they don't tell you where to sit or give you a way to get your order. My burger was so greasy and dripping from the side, my fries were at best good but my shake was a disaster. It had a taste of burning metal from what I can assume was the overworked blender. I simply refused to drink it. Overall not worth going back if I can go to Shake Shack or even Five Guys.

Classic Smash Burger w/ Smashfries... On point? I just wish the fries had more of the rosemary, garlic taste to them...they were just oily. But all things aside... It's worth the stop and delicious Burger ?.

Good food and service. Seats were bad and uncomfortable.

We were really excited to try Smashburger, having heard so much about it. We love the smash burger type of cooking hamburgers, but we were not impressed. I had the Double Triple and it was fine. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't particularly juicy. My companion had the larger BBQ, Bacon and Cheddar and his was actually dry. The location was clean and pleasant, but we were hoping for more from the food.

I received the wrong order, getting chicken instead of beef. I had to wait another 30 minutes to get the correct order. At this point, I think I should have received something complimentary for the inconvenience. Additionally, someone behind me noticed they also didn't get their fries. This experience was absolutely disappointing, and I won't be returning.
