El Toro - Clinton

This fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant has been around for years, but I just tried it for the first time and it definitely exceeded my expectations. El Toror is open for both lunch and dinner, and I highly recommend trying their El Burro Diablo dish. The Chipotle sauce tasted freshly made and had a delicious smoky flavor, and all of the other ingredients were also incredibly fresh. We also enjoyed a delicious and strong margarita—be careful, it packs a punch! Be sure to stop by and experience this amazing local restaurant for yourself. And don't forget to ask about some of their off-menu items as well.

The enchiladas were excellent, but the refried beans were too watery. The rice was just okay. I've never seen a margarita so clear before, it looked like water!

What a great Mexican Restaurant! The chips and salsa were great and the guacamole was ! I had the pan fried chicken tacos and they were excellent! This restaurant offers excellent food and service. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to all visitors. The food is delicious, making it the best restaurant to visit in Clinton, Iowa. The dine-in experience is highly recommended, with an average price range of $10 to $20 per person. The atmosphere is also rated highly at a 5. A recommended dish to try is the Chicken Fajitas.
