Írjon visszajelzéstThis restaurant absolutely sucks they know it. that’s why their famous line is: “once you place your order you non verbally agree to pay for the food.” which may be true. but when we placed an order here for dumplings, the waitress said she would bring something similar since they didn’t have dumplings. we were brought a plate with raw soggy dough and hardly any meat inside. we no longer wanted to eat here. so, after not being checked in on for quite sometime (which is crazy because they were NOT busy at all. , we got up to leave the owner ran up on us after we left the building posing threats using unnecessary foul language. we toldhim we would pay for the “dumplings” went back to do so, but instead got charged $45 for a $10 plate of food that wasn’t even eaten. the owner was causing a huge scene (name calling, pounding on the walls outside the door, pushing nudging us while walking with his body weight, etc. oh to top it all off, i’m sure the owner is going to respond to this review with his terrible attitude trying to justify himself his restaurant like he always does instead of actually taking in the feedback trying to improve his restaurant.
Our server Carolina staff went above and beyond for us tonight! We ordered a large and small boba, there was a mix up between mine and my husband’s and they gave us an additional large boba and a discount on our order to make up. The ramen is absolutely delicious as well!! Thank you for a great night and amazing meal. This is our new favorite noodle place and we’re excited to come back!
ETA: “Owner’s” response to this review is not respectful what so ever. Business owner’s should never treat customers that way with nasty remarks. Now I will for sure never be back. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 9+ years and would never treat a paying customer this way.Ordered carryout through online ordering on 11/11 (this past saturday). After ordering 2 ramen bowls, it said my order would be ready at 7:07 pm. I got there at 7:05 and the guy said “they are just finishing it up” so I sat at the bar and waited. I’ve had carryout from here once before so figured I would give it another shot because it was pretty good the previous time. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very odd for that type of place. I don’t know how one could sit in there comfortably to eat there food. Decoration and design on the place did not match the type of food to eat. After sitting there for 20 minutes… it was about 7:25 pm at this point, the bartender said “can i offer you a free drink on the house” uhm no…i just want my food. Mind you, the place wasn't even busy. there was about 5 tables in there and a few people sitting at the bar. Finally, at 7:30, my food was ready. I got home to see all of the meat was burnt to a crisp, the broth was flavorless, and there was MORE cabbage than noodles in both of the ramen bowls. I was pretty disappointed to spend $40 on that. I almost considered calling this place to get money back because both of the bowls went down the drain and I got food from else where. The heaping amount of cabbage with burnt meat every bite was pretty disturbing. and for sure not worth the extra 25 minutes that I sat there waiting to get my food. I will drive the extra couple miles and take my business to Shiromaru in Troy for some of the best ramen ever. This place is supposedly rated “best ramen in metro detroit”….maybe because its the only ramen place in metro detroit. Absolutely disgusting and will never be back. Also, never even got an apology for the extra time that i waited to get my food. failed customer service.
Great food and place. But if you have any issue the owner is no help at all. Thank you to the girl/manager with the pink hair. She was very sweet can't say the same for the owner.
New Age Noodles offers a delightful twist to traditional ramen, infusing Asian flavors that elevate the dining experience. The noodle texture is spot-on, providing a satisfying chewiness. The broth boasts a harmonious blend of spices, creating a rich and flavorful base. The variety of toppings adds both visual appeal and diverse taste profiles. However, portion sizes might leave some wanting more. Overall, a tasty and innovative take on Asian-inspired ramen.
