Throughout my order, he continued to display his unpleasant demeanor, leaning on the counter as if he was put out by my presence. I almost walked out and vowed not to return, but the manager reassured me that the situation would improve. Unfortunately, our orders were messed up nearly every time. It was evident that the staff didn't care, and I could see them preparing our items incorrectly. At that point, I just wanted to get the food and leave. We ordered five subs and two mac and cheeses, and let me tell you, the mac and cheese was dreadful, though the two subs that were made correctly were passable. While we waited, I mentioned to my husband that the manager had given me his card, but I couldn't find it amidst the chaos. Miraculously, I received different treatment from the young man when I mentioned the card. Honestly, I felt a twinge of sympathy for him. It seemed clear to me that he lacked any affection or guidance at home, and his behavior indicated he wasn't raised properly. Having encountered situations like this before in my role as a counselor, it was disheartening to witness.

This is by far the cleanest Big John's location we've visited. The first thing that caught our attention was a young lady diligently cleaning the grill area. There were three employees working, and at the time we visited, only one person was in the dining area with no one waiting in line. Our food was prepared quicker than at Jimmy John's and it was nicely cut and wrapped. The staff was also very friendly. This is definitely our favorite location whenever we're in the area. I don't understand why the reviews aren't more positive. You really can’t ask for a better experience than this. Great job to the team!

A must-visit restaurant in Flint that truly stands out with its high-quality and hearty dishes. I absolutely love this place! No matter what you order, you’re bound to enjoy it. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the city.
